In terms of intelligence or cognitive profiling, dyslexic learners frequently have performance score strengths, in contrast to verbal score weaknesses.
The facts of ten The base-ten structure of the number system provides a useful framework for a great deal of reasoning in maths. For instance, the connections which allow for generalisations in learning tables facts, are much harder to see than they are in learning addition facts.
