RPVOT Oil Condition Monitoring of Used Turbine Oils ASTM D 2272 is routinely used in the laboratory to give an overall estimate of the remaining oxidative stability of turbine oils, because it is relatively quick, uses a small volume of oil, and for trending oils in the field over extended periods is reliable.
