In the accelerated test, we added ϳ150 mg of the polymer to a Pyrex vacuum tube, which was sealed under vacuum and was then heated at 150°C for 2 h. This thermal treatment resulted in little change in the solubility of the polymer. To test this quantitatively, we used a DSC apparatus to check the heat flow in situ at 150°C isothermally. Nothing except a horizontal straight line was recorded, proving that the polymer has not undergone any chemical reactions during the heating process. For the slow test, we put a sample of 1(18) on a shelf in our laboratory under ambient conditions.
